Endocrinologist to Join IACNY

Dr. David DiCesar will join Internist Associates of Central New York, PC at the end of July.  He will provide care to patients with diabetes, thyroid conditions, osteoporosis, and other endocrine disorders.  Dr. DiCesar said he is looking forward to joining IACNY and providing much needed endocrine care.

"Unfortunately, a local and national shortage of endocrinologists has manifested in very long wait times.  This has been further worsened by the increased incidence of conditions that require endocrine expertise," he said.  "Internist Associates is becoming a 'one-stop shop' for medical care.  Patients will not need to be referred elsewhere for endocrine care."

Dr. DiCesar also added, "I am honored to be a part of a practice that is dedicated to serving the Syracuse community and providing the best possible health care to its patients."

Dr. DiCesar attended medical school at the University of Debrecen in Hungary.  He completed his internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship at SUNY Upstate Medical University in Syracuse.
