Osteoporosis Prevention & Treatment Center

At our Osteoporosis Prevention and Treatment Center, our caring, professional staff will provide the guidance, knowledge, and treatment you need to manage osteoporosis. We have designed our center to make evaluation, education and treatment of osteoporosis comfortable and efficient.

We offer:

  • Bone Densitometry: Quickly and painlessly measures bone density, a key factor in osteoporosis
  • X-ray: Measures the thickness of the spine and hipbones

After your bone densitometry, your physician may ask you to meet with our nurse educator. She is a registered nurse who specializes in osteoporosis education. She will discuss your bone densitometry results, proper nutrition, how to lower your risk, preventive medications, and treatment options and plans if necessary.
